Im not a animator in any way, shape, or form, but I never understood how the animators on shows miss a big detail like this.
How did they end up replacing flowers with umbrellas? |

Easy. The real Cheerilee had the run for this scene. So her stunt double replaced her. |

I'd say the fact so few errors slipped through, given the time they had, is pretty good.
Given that it's Flash I'd image their 'ctrl', 'V', and 'C' keys have been replaced many times. This is probably just a simple miss-click that the animator didn't notice. When you're going to be animating what is likely millions of frames in the amount of time they had, I'd say the number of errors that slipped through is kind of impressive. |

^ It's easier to replace a pony's colors/hair/cutie mark than draw a new one with a new pose. So since they must have already had some random bg character with the poses they needed for this scene, they just replaced the colors/hair/cm. Only they forgot to replace the cm.
At least that's what I think is the reason. |
