Anyway, I have yet to see much of this "story and character" he's talking about (Dark/Discodoc beat up Derpy... that's about it.)
But to be fair those things can take a while to develop and become apparent.

OFC if you really don't have a vision and are just stroking your own ego then even that hilariously drawn reaction face won't gain you forgiveness.

For the sake of argument, if there is a story, there either isn't much of one or I'm really wasn't paying attention. Discord corrupted the Doctor by showing him some unknown, great and (purportedly) terrible truth that the Doctor chose to run away from. He's now freed the Master from imprisonment, all the while indulging in depravity and cruising wantonly in the TARDIS.

As for "character", this anon is torn. While a discorded (recent season) Doctor makes a really loathsome bastard, and the author has the hatemail to prove how well he's succeeded in depicting a loathsome bastard, there's almost nothing more to him. I think there may have been a couple of moments of clarity - one bit involving Colgate/Romana and the other being his releasing of Derpy as opposed to visiting more horrors upon her - but we can only glean from this the notion that the original Doctor is not all gone. Everything else we see is either entertaining perversion or glorifying the bottom of the fanon barrel (whether intended or not).

6 months ago		 Since you guys pointed it out, I went and started reading the tumblr and I gotta say, I'm liking it. How is it any worse than any other tumblr? It makes me mad, makes me laugh, makes me sad. Maybe the author is just playing the long game and is going to take his sweet time putting the story out? Maybe he didn't wanna run out the whole story in two weeks? Maybe give you sometime to truly hate his character and all that he's become while we wait and see if you reclaims his humanity and pulls out of this? Also, ervryone panders to the fandom, that's how you get followers. /whiteknight

6 months ago		 Discord Whooves mod here. You're right, I don't want to dish out the whole plot in just a couple of weeks. I've slowed down my posts, I have an entire plot laid out that will be spanning over a couple of months. I have a 2 page long outline of the story that is constantly being updated.
As for his character, he has been going through developments so far. Hard to notice right now, but they get stronger as they go. For instance, he first said he had no interest in ponies, but his body said otherwise. He's been sleeping less than he was in the start, but as a trade off, he keeps reverting back to normal in small bursts. He had his first actual reaction to the change when he found himself crying and not knowing why.
He's shown twice that he has a weakness for innocence and generosity, towards Colgate and Twilight, showing something in him is still remembering the good in others.
Yes, the last couple of photosets were plain old fanservice, but they also implemented another plot point. Putting his wings back on, which will be more than just a cute little add-on to the character.
I want Discord Whooves to be a healthy mix of things. A little grimdark, a bit fan-servicey at times, sometimes funny, other times dramatic and sad, plot driven, interesting, etc. Things that happen wont be swept aside and forgotten. Like in Doctor Who, they will have a purpose to be later revealed.
When he first started, he was extremely anger driven, but as he delved into other things, his anger became less of an issue. He's finding outlets to calm himself, as he is very well aware his body is acting funny, even though he doesn't know why.
A problem with an Ask blog is that you have to work with the questions to move the story somehow, aaand.. A lot of those questions are rather sexual in nature.

The Doctor is not 'evil'. He's really not. He's just like a teen trying to find his moral standing, wanting to defy the norm but not entirely knowing just how to do it. He's giving in to the "free life", where everything is just one big party to enjoy and he refuses to face problems. He's a 'bad boy', not a villain.
I stand by this by saying there are certain things he will never do, simply because he's The Doctor. I promise that more of this plot will show as time progresses. I know how it ends, and god help me if I don't let it end without a bang.
