G1 used traditional animation and had a D&D feel with all it's weird monsters so I see the appeal. |

I grew up with G1, and have a soft spot for it, as it was quite epic back in the day. But I do watch G4 more often.
Just think about it for a moment. What would G4 be like if Hasbro still did as much with the story as they did with G1? We'd be getting stories like the season 1 premiere all the time. |

that's nonsense if they wanted a rise they'd use something besides G1 most bronies seem to be okay with that generation...now if they had said G3 had better stories, much better songs, and generally had a feeling of character interaction that G4 couldn't touch then they'd be trying to get a rise out of us |
