Actually Discord does appear in Fallout Equestia: Fly Away, but not until a bit later into the story. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/1953/Fallout-Equestria%3A-Fly-Away link for anyone interested. |

Doctor Whooves could easily reverse the plethora of idiocy and misunderstandings leading up to everything getting fucked to hell.
Discord's either still a statue or utterly goddamn supercharged with all the disharmony and bedlam going about. |

Planning a subtle Doctor reference in my story, manly taking advantage of Minutte |

can discord still change reality in FE? |

^who are you?
anyway, I'm thinking: since Discord would doesn't really fit into the story, how about a child of his who has weaker chaos magic? |

Most of FoE was written before Season 2. |

He's technically in it. There's the myth that a small part of him escaped and that's who puts bottle caps and other random stuff in the containers everywhere. |

Simple.
Doctor Whooves failed. The timeline in which Fallout Equestria occurs cannot be altered any further. And Discord is implied to be alive and well, but weakened terribly. How else do those vending machines still have Sparkle Colas? His doing, of course. |

There legends that the balefire bombs in Canterlot shrank him so much that he now a little imp that puts all the useless stuff ponies find for loot. |

^Unless, of course, Discord is "utterly goddamn supercharged" with chaos energy as a result of the apocalypse, and simply sees no need to worsen the situation. He seemed more like a malicious prankster than a genocidal monster. One one hand, he probably finds the whole "Celestia's harmless prank subtly got the ball rolling for the end of the world" to be hilarious, but on the other hand he's probably mortified that everything actually went to shit so fast. Chaos is great and all, but holy fuckdamn. |

Either Discord is just an imp that leaves junk behind, or he is happily watching from the sidelines while reveling in his final victory. He lives to create chaos, and the Wasteland is -or was- suffering incarnate.
And Doctor Whooves will never be in Fallout Equestria because he is ultimate plot device and could just undo all of the shit that got the ball rolling in the first place. Too easy. |

Discord can't exist as a major element in Fallout Equestria because one of the fundamental premises of the story is that ponies brought the disaster upon themselves through a lack of friendship. Having it be Discord's fault cheapens the moral of the narrative.
That being said, he was mentioned briefly in chapter 43 I think. He's either dead, or severely weakened. |

He also got a reference in "pink eyes."
There was a weapon that turned blood into chocolate milk. |

Just like the TARDIS in the Fallout (the first one) was a weird random encounter, Doctor Whooves is a potential random encounter in the world of Fallout: Equestria... but only for characters who have the equivalent of the "Wild Wasteland" trait. ^.^ |

I hear that in tales of a courier the main character took the trait. I guess well just have to see what happens next |

Spoiler: He's in Project Horizons.
And somehow Somber pulls it off. Makes him a pretty interesting character as well. |
