Interest in a being's personality can sometimes create a physical interest, so it's not completely beyond imagining. At least not for pretty who have fairly open minds, or already possessed (whether they knew it or not) some degree of xenophiliac leanings. |

@844823: I'd wager that very few people who have gotten off to MLP R34 haver ever been sexually attracted to real horses, nor will they ever be. The characters in the show barely even resemble actual horses anyway, nor do real horses at all resemble human women. I think that's the point this image was trying to make.
People who find cartoon ponies attractive have humanized them in their minds to the point that they find them attractive even in a non-human form. It is not that they have a horse fetish so much as it is their attraction to the characters' personalities is so strong that it overpowers their inhibitions about being attracted to something non-human. |

This is NOT about fucking horses in its simplicity, it's aimed at sexuality and our subconscious.
The two asses there are obviously drawn to look alike, and mostly have a "human kind of feeling" to it. It's subtle, but it's there. (Except the human one looks ridiculous in the way it's bending) And such is it with a lot of other pony R34. We are only REALLY attracted to what our subconscious lets us - We can only get over these basal attractions because we have higher levels of sentience, and can establish fetishes and so on. Like in this case, fucking horses. Or feet. People are not SUPPOSED to find them sexy... But some do. But this is unnatural. Our minds are simply wired to look at some specific things, including these: Women looking at men: Bigger body size, more muscularity, less fat, in good shape/Not looking like shit. (A bigger penis is also a good thing, as it can reach farther and thus inseminate with more success.) Women also react to imposing, dominant characters, but this is a social aspect. Men looking at women: Bigger hips to help give birth to children more easily, bigger breasts (to a point) and an attractive facial build and physique. (This last point is largely set up by social standards and not our subconscious, but is still a vital part.) All of this is because we need to pass on the best genes. Coming back to the pony subject - Sure, I can look at some drawing of a pony spreading its legs and showing a vagoo, but that's because it looks more than enough human for me to actually get aroused. Yet, when artists draw breasts around the vagina like normal horses have, it's a dead-pan turnoff. Same with multiple rows of breasts, which are normal on dogs and cats - They don't arouse me, they have an adverse affect on me. A lot of the reason we CAN fap to pony pictures is because a lot of the pictures are drawn with a physique far from a horse - The surface of its fur actually appearing smooth instead of furry. (This giving an illusion of skin) And of course, much of the porn have small bits and parts of human stuff, too. This whole reasoning also means I can't see why people would get angry at people masturbating to furries. They are essentially just humans with faces that are built differently (But still human enough for us to have a mental connection of sorts.) But then in the end comes the humans refined sentience and blocks out what it doesn't want. I don't fap to cartoon ponies either, but DAMN, sometimes people draw them in an enticing way with just too many human features for me not to, at least, get aroused. ...There. Explanations, or something. I'm tired, I wanted to get that out of the way because nobody, ever, has realized this. |

Yeah, there are shittons of factors that rule around attraction, but the dominant rule is the physical one (And as long as society's been around, social standing/intelligence/financial standing has also been a growing factor. This factor stems almost entirely from the super-ego, though) |
