So, if ponies have normal horse lifespans, that means Ponyville went from a pioneer settlement of shacks to a good-sized modern town in the space of about 20 years. |

@646 But this is all contradicted by Twilight saying that Ponyville was founded centuires ago,which actually suggests that ponies have long life spans (but they are not inmortal,like say Celestia). |
