@HeinousActsZX
Why would I? She IS the best pony! Okay, maybe not, but she's certainly the best filly! |

I imagine his name is something like Richie, or just Rich, and he got his current moniker from some ridiculous college conquest that everypony seems to know about. His nickname implies he is a filthy douchebag, which doesn't seem to be the case. Which is why he probably sees it as an insult.
He also probably isn't the least bit proud of his daughter. His mark represents his economic genius and shrewd business sense, whereas her mark depicts her special talent as being... A tiara. He drinks his sorrow away. |

I expect he said something to her along the lines of, "The Apples are a major supplier for my business, young lady, and you WILL treat them with respect!"
Not that the ungrateful brat will listen, but hey... |

He looks like a cool guy. |

"My daughter is a worthless piece of shit and I hate my life because of it." |

@BackgroundPony17
I was thinking that he probably scolded her due to what she said about Granny Smith, but your version fits far better. |

@#843941
or its for irony a name that implies he's a rich asshole but isn't Like his mark could also mean his special talent is having a lot of money ie being rich And DT's mark can mean the vualts of a princess (what Celestia and Luna are) and she's just in her "braty years" |

Diamond Tiara was incredibly cute in this episode |

Only Mrs. Rich can call him Filthy, if you know what I mean. |

"Dancing around wearing bunny ears was good enough for your mother." |
| Anonymous #845357 6 months ago |
@MortalKombatFan1 I beg to differ. It's like everyone working on the show saw people sympathizing with DT and/or SS and went "fuck them", proceeding to jack up their asshole levels to 11. I personally never even remotely liked them, but after what they did in this episode, I've never wanted to slap them so badly. |
| Anonymous #848327 6 months ago |
^ Silver Spoon wasn't so bad this episode, actually. She was the first to start clapping after Granny Smith's story, after all. |

I think Silver is kind at heart, but is very easily influenced, and eager to impress Diamond. |

Filthy Rich seems to be a BIT of a douchebag though not entirely - it's always cool to see older folks getting along on a level that the kids don't seem to get. They're too busy arguing about cutie marks. |
