Prince Blueblood and the Tower Arcana

Finally right? Sorry for my absence, but thanks to Shu’s appearance in the latest episode of Persona 4: The Animation, I decided to get back on the ball. So, here we are: Prince Blueblood and the Tower Arcana.

The definition of the Tower Arcana represents characters described as “overly arrogant.” The monk at the club, Mutatsu, is introduced as just some old drunk rambling on about the respect he deserves, but still focuses his time towards booze and cigars rather than a more divine lifestyle like his title proclaims. Mutatsu soon opens up about the family he thought he could forget about by hiding behind the smoke and lights of club. The Jr. High student Shu starts off like a spoiled brat, simply stating that your service as a tutor for him can be “easily replaced.” Shu is obviously a reserved child more worried about himself than classmates, seeing one child as competition, and in his fears to remain “a shining star” to his single mom, he commits a shameful act. Shu learns from his mistake and realizes he should be open towards other people, rather than view them as temporary additions in his life.

As soon as I read the trait about arrogance, I immediately thought of Blueblood. I originally thought of him as the Emperor Arcana (to annoy Rarity as the Empress) but decided to save him for later if need be. Anyways, “Prince” Blueblood obviously comes from a high social class background, and he makes sure to let other ponies know it. Still, as snobbish as he seems, I wouldn’t mind knowing more about him, and hopefully help change his attitude by the end. Plus, another male character was needed to balance the ratio of females to males so far, even though Equestria appears to be on a 3 : 1 scale respectively, (at least with major and minor characters.) The Tower Arcana was also represented by males in both games, so I needed a guy for the spot, (which happens to be part of my reasoning for the next Arcana as well…)

@211

I would assume his Persona would be Narcissus.
