Context: Pinkie has been a little crazy, hence the scars across her cutie mark, and killed one of her sisters. Apple Bloom, considered to be a teen by the artist, close to Pinkies age, saw her during one of her bits of insanity, and took it upon herself to help rehabilitate Pinkie. During this time, they fell in love, I think because they had a lot more interaction with each other then their other friends. The moment in the picture is when Applejack finds out, and her reaction is obvious. Apple Bloom basically says, "Screw you, she needs my help." That's all I remember.
