spike X applebloom to me is kind of unsettling tho, think about it, spike is nearly twilights age so lets say 16 but applebloom is a filly so like 8-10.......o-o |

Apple Bloom looks older here, so I think it's safe to assume this might be set in some future period where both are more-or-less "adults", whatever meaning that term has in Equestria.
Such an age difference, while extreme in adolescents, is perfectly normal for adults. |

Spike/Bloom is pretty cute IMHO. But I can't see it as anything other than a child romance - and them having bio kids together is weird. |

Twilight is probably around 20 years old, when Applebloom is 10 right now, then Spike is 10 as well. |
