A Greek DVD before the release of a DVD here in NA?
I call piracy. |

@#837648: NA does have DVDs already: Celebration at Canterlot (containing "The Ticket Master" and "Suited for Success") and Adventures in Ponyville (containing "Swarm of the Century", "Sonic Rainboom", "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", and an episode of Family Game Night), plus the promotional MiniDVD The Ticket Master (containing "The Ticket Master"). |

They really just use random ponies for the cover, huh. Fluttershy, Scootaloo, and...Big Macintosh?
(And Rainbow Dash's cutie mark is wrong) |

Jackarunda said: Apparently, when you're marketing DVDs towards a younger audience, you do it with two-episode discs. I guess full-season box sets only appeal to older and more hard-core fans? |

You should take into consideration that DVDs for kids are rarely, if ever bought by the kids themselves but only as gifts or as something extra when the kid asks for it in the store, so the price should never exceed $15, a price between $4 and $8 is perfect for a children's gift and considering the episodes are $2,99 on iTunes in HD, that would limit the discs to 2 to 4 episodes per disc.
Perhaps soon, but children today aren't savvy enough to ask a DVD box set of their favorite TV show for their birthday just yet. |

I'd be happy is Hasbro would make the episodes available for everyone to purchase and download off their website. |
