The names annoy me more than the designs. I swear, if I hear one more guy say "Butterscotch" or "Elusive" to refer to a genderswap..
I've seen a lot of bronies make their own designs but too many bronies still use these: ![]() |

Are you crazy?
The names're awesome! |

They're horrible names. Plus many of the mares names are androgynous anyway. |

Male Applejack's is pretty ugly, and conflicts with her female portrayal, as normal-sized. Name is good.
Blitz's name is good, but his eyelashes are terrible, and the spiky hair is kind of shit. 'Dusk Shine' is a weak name, fine appearance. 'Butterscotch' is a terrible name, fine appearance. Love Berry's appearance, but the name kind of clunks. |

Female Applejack's is pretty ugly, and conflicts with his male portrayal, as large-sized. Name is good.
RD's name is good, but her eyelashes are terrible, and the scruffy hair is kind of shit. 'Twilight Sparkle' is a weak name, fine appearance. 'Fluttershy' is a terrible name, fine appearance. Love Pinkie's appearance, but the name kind of clunks. Basically what I'm trying to say is if you took these genderswaps and genderswaped them, would you end up back with the original? Personally I think so. Also people refer to these genderswaps most of the time is because they were the first to show up, like the way people refer to the mane6 of the show instead of a fan artist's interpretation. |

I agree that the name changes are usually completely unnecessary. Most pony names are pretty much gender-neutral. |

I like the gender-bent ponies. They're brilliantly done, IMHO. |

I really wish more people would use Barbara for 63!Spike. Just saying. |
| ILSS #838366 6 months ago |
I really don't like "Barbara". Why not just call gender swapped Spike "Barb"?
I get that the idea is to shorten it as a nickname, but there's no reason to bother. Barb is already a legitimate diminutive form of the name. |

Love Berry? Aw hell no! All those names suck and the designs suck.
Also, fem!Spike is an abomination. |
