7 is silly with its anti-legacy system - it refuses to talk with devices for some reason unless they're 7 certified. A friend had an extremely frustrating time trying to get his continuous-ink-modded printer loaded in 7, it just would not run. I gave him a CD with Win XP SP3 Pro, and it worked. Put in his old serial key to make it legal, and it had no issues. |
