We should probably just count the times that Rainbow Dash has saved a life either alone or with assistance from no more than one other character.
Let's see now (going from memory): S1Ep2 - Twilight Sparkle, saved from falling off a cliff with help from Fluttershy. I think she also prevented TS from falling again later in the episode. She did at least comment the second time "What is it with you and falling off cliffs today?" S1Ep16 - Rarity, Spitfire, and two other Wonderbolts. This is Dash's Crowning Moment of Awesome, so you'd have to be a foal to not recall this episode. S2Ep8 - A Filly who fell down a well, a foal whose carriage was about to careen off a sheer drop. Attempted numerous rescues which either wound up with her messing up, Mare Do Well stealing the opportunity at the last minute, or both. S2Ep10 - Spike and Rarity, with help from Fluttershy. Caught the falling pair with the ragged remains of Rarity's cape. So... at least 9 different incidents Rainbow has saved somepony else's skin (or scales). When she has had assistance, it's always been Fluttershy being her wingmare. Fluttershy as a wingmare? I should draw fanart of that... |
