Explanation time: Spiderman was often used to derail pony threads, along with gore and porn. It eventually became popular to combine the two (spiderman and ponies in this instance, gore and porn are a part of every fandom. ever.). Deadpool became popular because of the fourth wall antics of pinkie pie. The joke at the end of the comic is that spiderman and deadpool share the same color scheme and are mistaken by some for one another, so spiderman pictures are also often tagged as deadpool. Not to mention '60s spiderman and deadpool are both depicted as huge trolls |

Spiderman and deadpool go hand in hand.
From my POV, 4chan /v/ and /b/ started threads about 60 spiderman but the filename is misleading mostly saying deadpool (vice versa) since their eyes and red costum is similar abd eyes. i.e spiderman_hugging_subway_sandwich.png becomes Deadpool_attacked_by_quiznos_sub.png |
