This is the way it is:
Dinky is Derpy's daughter, Dinky is a unicorn because Derpy married some unicorn stallion who hasn't shown up in an episode yet

Tootsie can be Seafoam's sister or daughter

Dinky and tootsie are friends


look at the way the peabnut bubber jar squishes into Sparkler's hoof/leg. It's cool

6 months ago		 Maybe Sparkler is a community service pony. She's good with foals, so she takes it upon herself to be a communal "big sister" for the ones who don't have siblings, are under some manner of hardship, or who just want somepony to hang out/speak/play with.

Sparkler is very close with the Hooves family, Dinky being the only child of a single parent, and visits them often. She just happened to be having lunch with Tootsie in the Mare Do Well episode.

1. That is not Seafoam, that is Sparkler. They are similar, but an easy way to tell is the cutie-mark. Seafoam has two dolphins.

That's why I see Derpy, Dinky & Sparkler as sisters. Derpy's the middle child who was born a unicorn, but some accident turned her into a pegasus and locked her form.
