It's not that bad. You could try vectors, they forgive you a lot. |

you should try drawing around a "skeleton" instead of drawing the pony from scratch |

Would you like to draw? 'Cuz I have alot of tutorials on my computer, just send me your email so I can give you them, possibly in RAR format. |

I tried drawing some pony bodies after doing this completley freehand from seeing one of the standard Fluttershy vectors, using tutorials linked on EqD...
I just don't have that sort of patience, I deskflipped in the end. |

But ping me if you want them, I have alot more than EqD. |

Thanks for the offer, but for now I'll pass.
I may or may not practice to start drawing ponies properly... This was just a blind test run. For now... *Slinks back to Pony Creator* |

You've got her nose and half of her mane actually pretty spot on. Of all the things I've found to be the biggest help when drawing, it's routine. Once you get a feel for the shape of each body part, your eyes will pick up all the small cues and details you've missed. Keep at it; it really does pay off in the end.
There was a user called Wrongness that used to come here all the time. If he were still with us, he'd show you what steps he took to get as good as he did (a running joke was that he could never do eyes. Aaaand that all of his early ponies looked like potatoes. :P He improved immensely over time though and actually produced some pretty respectable stuff). |
