It's never been particularly easy to find new, very good friends who you can trust as deeply as the Mane Six must trust each other. It's no more difficult now than it ever was, anyway. But it does get more difficult for the individual the older he or she gets.
It's never impossible, though. Just keep at it. |

I have one very good friend and I occasionally wonder how genuine our friendship is. And then I remember about that time I spent about six months thinking my family was trying to poison me and I realize I'm fucking insane and anyone who's willing to spend more than an hour talking to me is equally nuts.
Mental illness and personality disorders breed fellowship is what I'm saying. |

I have very few close friends that I would consider as good as the Mane 6, but if you look at the Mane 6 they don't seem to always be the best of friends to one another
Rainbow Dash often insults her friends or just doesn't want to put up with them unless she's the center of attention Examples: Her treatment of Fluttershy in Dragonshy, her cheating and mistreatment of Applejack in Fall Weather Friends, her purposely trying to avoid hanging out with Pinkie Pie in Griffon the Brush Off Twilight, despite her skills, can come off as bossy and controlling at times and ignorant of other ponies feelings Examples: Her treatment of Spike in Owl's End That Ends Well, her know-it-all attitude in Pinkie Sense, Lesson Zero I could go on. They are good friends, not because they are perfect to each other, but because they stick together despite their flaws. |

it's take a long time to grow an old friend.
i have friends who would give me the shirt of there back if i needed it, and some "friends" who are as fake a a barbie doll. you just got to find the true one. |
