I always pictured Rarity as either of partially-European descent (from her mother's side) or Asian. Of course, having seen her parent's, it kinda kills that theory...unless she was adopted. Which, considering how different she is, could be possible lol |

I see her as somewhat dark skinned but not necessarily a specific anything.

Rarity's just so prissy and self-obssesed that her random bouts of generocity and ruggedness cannot balance them. On most continents, a immovable number of white people are entrenched in that role through birth or idiocy. Even to the extent that that doesn't mean rich-only people. |

shes rarity. how can you not expect her to make sure she has a good tan at all times. that way she can be white and still be darker due to a tan. everyone wins. |

^She's more like the type of girl who would protect her skin from anything, including UV rays.
I personally like pale-skined Rarity because it simply works. And I prefer white&pueple over brown&purple. |
