Man, this side quest was SO FUCKING ANNOYING when I first played this game. I didn't knew about the songs of double/reverse time back then, so I had to wait for all those events, not to mention that I failed at retrieving the mask from the hideout once.

It took me several times before I realized assedly stumbled upon when you could finally talk to Kafei and get the entry in so you can look at his damn timeline in the notebook.
