Ah, this makes so much sense now. When Luna was imprisoned on the moon, she developed louder and louder sound systems to try and communicate with the ponies of earth via rock anthems. She communicates with the "Royal canterlot voice" not because she thinks she needs to, but because she has gone deaf! |
