It's a marketing program for a copyrighted apple from Australia. There's a lot of copyrighted plantstuffs.
The newest one I tried was these Marchini almonds at the Christmas party, someone bought a caseful of them. They look different, because of the natural defects of the variety. What I didn't like about it was a plant patent was secured for it. It's like claiming a new funny looking weed, a result from nature, as your own creation. Something is wrong with that office if they actually award a patent for that. If a pony came into our world by portal or magical means, would you dare patent him/her? |
