MS Paint is actually pretty good, especially the Windows 7 version. It's nice and easy - not confusing like GIMP or Photoshop. It's especially good for sketches.

Well, the background of that fourth picture certainly looks like good ol' MS Paint.
But I agree, while not perfect, Win7 Paint is moderately competent for a bundled piece of software. You can get some very sharp lines on it, not to mention that you still have the full 16.9m colour spectrum at your disposal. |

MS paint looks all pixled and shit. I've seen ASCII art with better detail than most ms paint art. Use MyPaint if you want a proper tablet drawing program that's free besides GIMP or Photoshop. And to answer your question, nope, not really. |

All of those were made in MSPaint. |

If you want a really good drawing program that's still relatively inexperience, try your hand at SAI. I think it's just $50 to register, and there's a whole bunch of custom brushes you can download. :) |

Why use MS Paint when GIMP is free?
Except for the feeling of nostalgia, maybe. |
| Anonymous #827290 6 months ago |
MSPaint is just a tool, it doesn't matter what you use but how. |
