I'm part of the fandom, and I draw the characters with whoever the hay I want. The characters are only as straight or gay as the person looking at them wants them to be.
It's like I always say-- just because you like a certain ship doesn't mean you own the characters, nor does it mean your opinion represents all the fans of either character in said ship. |

In other words, if the characters are gay in your fanon, that's fine and dandy. However, that doesn't give you the right to say someone else's fanon is "incorrect" because in theirs the characters are straight. That's just as bad as if it was the other way around, and there is no point in trying to police fanon when fanon is different for every person anyway. It's a battle you can't win, and it will only make you bossy and annoying. |

@NightJack: That's why "MC W1SH" works IMO-- he's not necessarily a DJ in the same way that Vinyl Scratch is. His name (Neon Lights) implies that his specialty is light shows, whereas DJ P0N3 is obviously an audio expert. The guy who named him "Neon Lights" also came up with the name "MC W1SH" as his stage name. |
