I don't see why elf ears of wings are so bad. Angels are flying people, pegasi are flying horses. Elves are all magical and shit, and so are unicorns. You can't deny that they're equivalents. I do think horns look retarded on people, though, and I think Twilight as a human/elf/whatever would be of Slavic, maybe even Jewish descent. @115 That's racist. Sadly, this predates Ponibooru by a wide margin - people have been making a federal fucking issue out of it since, like, the /co/ threads back in November 2010.
Still think it's kinda dumb, though. Any mapping of human polymorphism to pony polymorphism is going to be arbitrary anyway, since you don't get purple humans and race =/= ethnicity/culture. So you go with what your aesthetic sense says will make a cool design. Seriously why do people give even half a shit. |
