Rarity looks a bit previous-genish but apart from that a great piece! |

Beautiful yet sad. I interpret this as Twilight and Spike have outlived their friends... |

Nice wings you got there, Twi. |

Indeed. Now, Twilight's eyes take up almost 80% of the visible side of her head. Kinda wonky. |

"Dear Princess Celestia... and dear friends.
Teacher... sometimes I don't feel happy knowing I was meant to take your place some day... The people loved my rule... I grew use to the vast power I now wielded a century ago... I had Spike and many others at my side to keep harmony across Equestria. I should felt happy... But I don't. Just recently, the new bearers of the Elements had defeated another great evil. Their friendship, and the trials they went through together. Its just like how me and my friends had bested Discord and Nightmare Moon. I missed my friends so much. It just pains my heart just to remember them. I bet you know how it was like, teacher... to see yourself outliving your friends, your family, everypony you knew... to see them all grow old and pass on while I stay young and powerful. Sometimes, I went to the mountains and use my magic on them...to bring them to life as images upon the clouds... seeing them act out happy times centuries past... specters of a brilliant light show. ...Its just not fair to them, after all we had gone through. They deserved more than just being memories... my and Spike's memories alone. Sometimes... when I look upon them... I wish I never had to take up this burden... that I do not have to leave them behind...that I could be with them... wherever they go. Farewell, my mentor, and goodbye, my best friends... and know that wherever you all may be now... I would never forget you. Your faithful student and friend, always. Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria." |

A letter placed upon the hillside near Ponyville on Heart's Warming Heath, One Century Later.
Every Heart's Warming Heath, I still went to the cliffs around Ponyville and use my magic on the sky...to bring them to life as canvas upon the clouds... seeing them act out happy times years past... specters of a brilliant light show. I saw Applejack making her family cider and pies... I saw Rainbow Dash the Wonderbolt trailing through the skies with a new move she practiced, awesome as ever. I saw Fluttershy and Pinkie having tea with her later, listening as she brag, and then spending the rest laughing at Pinkie's jokes. I saw Rarity looking herself in the mirror, trying out a dress from a new collection she designed. Though older now, she still looked fabulous as ever... Of course. They are all gone now... passed away while I stayed behind. ...It's just not fair to them, you know. After all we had gone through, all we had achieved. They deserved more than just being memories... my and Spike's memories alone. Sometimes... when I look upon their echoes on the clouds... I wish I never had to take up this burden... that I do not have to leave them behind...that I could be with them... wherever they go. I supposed someday, I would learn to finally let them rest in my hearts.. Farewell, my mentor, and goodbye, my best friends... and know that wherever you all may be now... I would never forget you. Your faithful student and best friend, always. Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria." |

^^ Sorry, the second prose is the improved version. Read that and ignore the first. |
