Y'know, Bionicle and FiM mesh together flawlessly. The Toa are basically the bearers of the Elements of Harmony (the Mane Six), Mata Nui could be a sleeping Celestia, Makuta (Mata Nui's brother, no less) could easily be Nightmare Moon.
One could take the Bionicle Universe's plot and the FiM Universe's characters and fantasy setting and have something extremely awesome in front of them |

^I dunno, you (Takanuva)? How about Toa Ignika, since he was just the Mask of Life with a body? In the FiM Universe, that would be comparable to all of the Elements of Harmony contributing a fraction of their power to create a new life form, perhaps even combined with an actual Mask of Life, since an established "Seventh Element" seems a bit too much of a canon break in the FiM Universe. Plus, searching for the Mask of Life could make up the 'mane' quest of the story. |

@MattaTatta - it's too bad Bionicle didn't also have a cult fanbase cuz it would have been equally awesome. A toy-driven plot with 6 characters representing different elements trying to kill the evil god and fight alongside the good god. The story got way more awesome but exponentially harder to keep track of and me and all my friends gave up, somewhere around the 2nd island chronicle. |
