If anything, I would've thought Octavia_Philarmonica. I don't read a ton of fanfics, but that's the only surname I can associate with Octy off the top of my head. |

Do people delete the "Octavia" tag when they do it?
I can see why that would be annoying, but as long as they aren't removing any tags I don't see a problem. |

It's from that comic where Octavia and Vinyl are lovers and Octavia's mom finds out and chews her out. Before said chewing, her mother refers to her by her full name, i.e. Octavia von Clef. |

Octavia sounds Italian to me. Or some Latin derivative. Von Clef sounds Austrian or German. She needs an Italian surname. Or a really long name. More fancy that way. Like:

We need to put a second name to Octavia? and, really? Von Clef?
remember, in the past, the second names were taken from the birdplace, from the the profession they had, or from the father's name. Know think, the original language in the name Octavia is latin (wich mean's "the eighth daughter" ) so, we dont know the name of the father, and it's probable that she born in Canterlot, and she's obvious a cellist. so, the more likely second names to octavia are (in latin traduction) -Octavia Of Canterlot -Octavia The Cellist See? it's so obvious than is not even necessary. |

I'm the real originator of the name "Octavia" and I think it's also a stupid name. It's too formal and just ridiculous. It was a long while back the last name "Ann" was popular. |
