Not quite. Ever wonder why you never see queens in Equestria? We never do see them, and that's because when they're crowned, they're taken below into the hive-warrens below Canterlot, fed hormone-laden cupcakes, and grow 30 metre long distended birthing abdomens. Pumping out offspring then commences using the donors' sperm. The mated queens are quite simply the mother and father to all ponies. Since they can live for a thousand years or more, Celestia's good for a few more years' dropping in on tea parties and training up students, but one day the current queen will die... |

Magical pastel ponies are actually all asexual. They blorp in half like little amoebas, creating two new little foals, and the original pony respawns later. The saccharine, sugary residue left behind by the genesis of these two little ponies then forms into a new human-in-equestria fic or a new cupcakes ripoff, respectively. |
