Heres my head-canon:
Everything Discord did was for Screwball. Long-limbed bunnies? So she wouldn't have to watch em get eaten. The chocolate rain and candy cotton clouds? What kid wouldn't love that? And he was turning ponyville into a personal playground for her. For a first brith-day(Yes literally, BIRTH. DAY.) Let's face it, if you're a god you're prepared to go pretty far out with your gifts. And finally he was removing the elements of harmony as a possible threat, hes got no illusions about what he is, but being his creation screwball could be seen as 'evil'... oh, and even now she's crying at the foot of his statue. "Why daddy... why!?!?" |
