Fantastic story. Pretty much exactly how I'd handle a pony appearing out of nowhere.
Also, Neon's wings are missing in the first panel she appears in and when she's asleep on the couch. Maybe they were just too hard to draw that small. |

TL;DR version:
Guy has a magic mirror. Pony comes through mirror. Guy and Pony become friends. Pony explores the outside world. Pony becomes a famous star. Pony becomes corrupted with our everyday negative emotions. Guy feels sorry for her and Pony forgets everything. Pony returns home. Guy destroys mirror. Bronies beat the shit out of him. Guy dies in the hospital, happy, knowing that the pony will live a happy life. The end. |

Okay, so the premise is that this pony is transported away from her world and her birth parents and spends her childhood with a kind and loving human. Okay, that's a premise with promise.
But what the hell happened after that? He's got the whole, "BAAWWW HUMONS ARE ALL BAD AND EBIL" thing going on along with a contrived and implausible method of destroying the person she grew up to be. I mean, wiping out the memories of your childhood can kind of do that to a person. At the very least, it leaves a void that the person is all too aware of. She'll be wondering what the fuck happened to her and her parents will too. And then after essentially killing her, he chucks her off into a world she literally doesn't know much of (you know, since she spent her childhood on Earth, oh and by the way, now only exists as memories in his head alone); she has no reason to trust him other than "HERP A DERP THIS WORLD SUKS GO BACK 2 YUR OWN." The artwork is lovely and the first half is very heartwarming, but the conclusion of this story and its implications about its protagonist are ridiculous. |

I don't want to live in a world where nothing bad ever happens. While this comic is well-drawn and well-written, it forgets one of the most important things in life. All of those unsavory things that we experience in our lives, from fear to anger, are just as important to have. Because they make all the good parts of life that much sweeter. |
