^It has to do with the story behind the comic. Long story short, the author's mom died and when he went back to play Animal Crossing, he began to get old letters from his mother's character saying she loved him/her. Very sad. |

That story is a real tear jerker, but I can't tell whether the letters were from the in-game Mom or his mom was sending him letters. |
