I have no talent in drawing people whatsoever. In fact, the reason that I draw ponies so much is because they're so much easier to draw than people.
This is my attempt at easy-modo generic anime style people. A lot of the design choices were influenced by the picture that ~Sirensy did for my Ask-Blog. |

I can see what you mean. But, as always, practice makes perfect. Now... here's a piece of advice- if you're going to branch out into drawing people, you could try and experiment with different kinds of physique (see Megasweet and John Joseco as a case in point: they draw amazingly well, but usually only a few basic body types), or similar faces (a common thing, too).
Now, I'm not an artist, so I can't imagine how much of a tall order it is to vary anatomy, but it's a good skill to learn and develop. Of course, keep at it, and thank you for sharing your art! |
