Well I find the character most similar to Spike due to reasons both aesthetic and personality wise. Both his evil tangents in the show feature him in a hat, particularly the top hat, but more importantly I see him as a very lonely kind of character being the only dragon around and never being invited to anything. That and his unrequited love for Rarity reminds me of the BTAS episode Mad as a Hatter for a lot of reasons. Lastly, I really like the Mad Hatter, and wanted to include him, as he WAS in the game I'm parodying and is IMO a very underrated villain. Hope that answered your question. |

The one drawback to his hats is that he actually has to be within arms reach of the pony to plop it on their head, and Rarity won't let him get that close. |
