Some would say well there's your problem. But I can't say I've been there enough to form an educated opinion on it. IMO you shouldn't base the integrity of the fanbase on one image board. I tend to stay away from chans of any sort as they tend to be a bit too wild for me. I usually stick to forums where there is an established in the community. But it is rather unfortunate that happened to you there. Though the reactions tend to stem from how you presented yourself. |

I remember when I tried to post a fanfic on ponychan. It was ignored. Totally ignored.
Now, I hate ponychan. If you wants reviews, you have to ask self-importants assholes. I just wanted to write for fun and for readers, but it's impossible. Fanfics are soooo serious business... |

That's ponychan for ya. Sure, it was intreasting back when the fandom first started, but ever since much better sites like Eqestria daily and this site popped up, alot of sane bronies left ponychan to lay in it's own filth. |

Me? I go to tv tropes {Which is not a pony fansite, but it does have alot of pony stuff and the fans their are nice}, eqestria daily and ponibooru. Sure, this site tends to have stupid people on it, but it's not that bad, or at least not to me it isn't. |

Here mostly, this place has the right amount of self-loathing to not be arrogant. And there's many fan-groups on DA that I frequent who cater to certain brony archetypes. There's a general one, a cutesy one, a grim-dark one, a sexy one, a "high art" one (which I avoid for the same reason I avoid ponychan). Oh and EQD isn't to bad, and with the Brony section of memebase. |
