I mean... I LOVE seeing happy scootaloo. (I love your tumblr scootsmod). But something about a dark, suicidal scootaloo is just, awesome. Probably because I can relate to her better.

It's called terrible writing and lazy art (Artist doesn't bother to make a gun useable by ponies.). Get used to it. Though, one could argue that since they have cannons, they ould potentially have guns. |

You're right @513 but I think that the Genre is overdone in terms of tumblr. I wasn't that much fan of CT's Pinkamena blog. But all these other blogs just pale in comparision to that one,and just seem like they are trying too hard. Though I'm not a person who's into grimdark. |

^ I really liked Ask Pinkamena, but it had an excellent sense of character and a good dark sense of humor. It could have easily just been about Pinkie slaughtering lots of ponies, but it wisely pushed that to the side to explore her psyche instead.
Most other grimdark Tumblrs just go for shock value or just try to pile on the sad. They copy the basic surface of Ask Pinkamena, but not the stuff that actually made it worth reading. |
