bronies are, from my point of view, guys (bro) who enjoy MLP FiM the show (ponies). The Apperciate the art and animation and voice acting and everything.
some are talented to make tribute art, some very risque others turning them human much like turning internet sites into "humans" all fine and dandy. Thats about 80% of the fandom You can guess whats the 20% Furries seem to be the opposite 20% enjoy animal persona since mankind link strengths to animals, beings that are not them but wish to be...i think thats the appeal....and the other 80 you can guess. (maybe 30/70 or something like that) You don't see many bro-con or Poni-con whatever they call it having sexy costume contest or hentai art booth and comics magazine and dildos... |

The "hate" possibly transpires from the 80% who see the "furry bronie".
Like it been said before like 5% is explicate and 3% is questionable on ponibooru. ( however I consider some shipping pictures questionable since they show them in a suggestive or erotic pose...giving present and blush is fine) Sex is pretty low and I hope it stays low too. |

Bronies, I would say, come to ponibooru and the like first and foremost because they enjoyed the show and enjoy the fandom as well, and were looking for more pony-related content. Furries, I would contend, like a broader range of anthro style material and may or may not have arrived at ponibooru via the show. The reason furries get so much flak for drawing most of the fucking porn/extra-strength sick shit is because they do draw most of it.

similar point to what i said. I focused on differences though. Similarities are the anthro and that innocent "ponisona" and all that jazz. Their are many overlapping similarities now you mention it...(I should of mentioned those sorry for being a bit biased)
However, I tried to answering with my opinion to the image. Stating what sprung up each fandom and the base of it and the people in it and how the conduct their cons and booru. Poni had a easy start and was giving an advantage though, but that reflects on the majority of the fandom. I wonder what is the % of "safe" and "not safe" on the furry booru. |

well, on the page of latest posts, 14/20 would probubly be considered questionable or explicit by our standards. thats 70%. of course, thats a horrible sample size, but considering they dont censor like we do, getting a more accurate count would be very time consuming |

@benger Just doing a friendship_is_magic search comes back with mostly unsafe images. And statistically speaking, a random sampling of 20 would not be terribly inaccurate. Doing a random sample of a few pages, that trend does continue with, I'd say, 50%+ being unsafe, conservatively. I was going to say that ponibooru is better, but then I realized I've got quite a few filters directed at unsafe tags and have questionable warned and explicit hidden by default. |

I have no filters and nothing blocked, and I can say this site does not reach even close to those levels. also, on the page i looked at more than a quarter of the pics were of anthrous going at it hard, with everything showing. we dont see nearly many pics like that here, sometimes not for days and days at a time. i was actually quite supprized |
