This picture would at least be bearable if the creator knew what he/she was talking about.
The first image is 2 people in cosplay, the second image is anthro. Now Im not going to say these are not furry, because thay both could be, all I want to say is that you cant call these furry and be done with it. Its not that simple. Long-story-short. Both the pictures might not be furry. |

This whole furry thing only leads to headache. They draw a lot weird things, their insistence that bronies are furries in denial is annoying and despite being a cosplayer myself, I think those fursuits are very awkward, but honestly, what's the big deal? |

The distinction between bronies and furries at the level of viewing anthro art comes in how they arrived there. Bronies, I would say, come to ponibooru and the like first and foremost because they enjoyed the show and enjoy the fandom as well, and were looking for more pony-related content. Furries, I would contend, like a broader range of anthro style material and may or may not have arrived at ponibooru via the show.
Put thusly: I, a brony, peruse fan works of the show because of my love of the show and the characters and stories that fans are building from. Though I appreciate some of the anthro or furry-style art that crops up in relation to MLP, that's where my similarities with furries stop. Anthro wolf boy? No thanks, I don't care about him so I dismiss it out of hand. Anthro Rarity? Well now you're using a character I already like, so I'll stop a moment and look. tl;dr: furries and bronies tend to have less in common than furries think and tend to have more in common than bronies think. |

^If he's a troll, don't feed him. If he's not, then we sit back, and laugh at his lack of filtering. I've made some horrible mistakes with people like this, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you don't call them out. One such prick wouldn't stop berating me until he decided that all bronies were furries (dickhead) and left the site. |
