I don't hate the Playstation, I just hate when people say that it's better than Xbox. All game consoles have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Wii has a broder level of accessability, but a lack of good reputation among less casual gamers. Xbox is a good middleground for moderate gamers. It may not have as high quality graphics as the PS3, but it makes up for it in a larger fanbase and a reliable online service. Playstation has the best graphics, and some of it's exclusive games look fucking awesome, such as Uncharted or Infamous. I would get one based on games like that alone if it weren't for the systems general unreliablity and the fact that the PS3's fanbase is by far the most fanatically arrogant of the bunch. Feel free to agree with me, produce a counter-argument, or call me names now. |

I hate the kinect too. Besides having no real games, have you ever heard someone using the mic on that thing? Fucking horrible! It sounds like a mini tape recorder stuck inside the back of a toilet water tank. I mute that shit instantly. |

I'm also getting tired of Microsoft's insistence that browsing the Xbox menus with Kinect is somehow better than just using a controller or remote. It might be impressive when you have guests over, but it's much faster to just press (for example) the pause/start button, rather than saying "Xbox, pause movie". |
