I am 26 and there's no way I'm telling my dad or my older siblings. My mother knows since I watched many episodes with my "baby" sis (she's 14) and she's thinks that it's only marginally wierder/immature than the rest of my interests (internets, RPGs etc). |

I never made a point of hiding my interest in the show. but I can't honestly say I was a little anxious when my parents actually noticed that I liked ponies. My Dad and two sisters are the only ones who oppose it. My brothers are fans, and my Mum doesn't mind at all. I drew on my sister's (the older of the two) High School ID badge, I drew a great pic of Dash, and covered it with tape. I actually handed it to her, and yet she didn't notice until about six hours later. Needless to say, she was irritated. Wait, I think the younger sister has become neutral, she just asked me about the characters on my screen and the toys I have. And then encouraged me to style Dash's mane. It is spreading! |
