"Last roundup" tends to be used for when a cowboy is soon to die, that's why it doesn't sound good, maybe Psyga315 is thinking we will see someone of the Apple family die. |

The inclusion of the word "Last" in the title makes the episode sound ominous. Like something bad is going to happen that might not be repairable.
Of course, that would be quite a leap from how FiM is. The show is extremely positive, and the bad things that do happen always have solutions. |

Has anypony noticed that Applejack has had unusually high attendance in Season 2 so far? I can't think of any episodes where she doesn't at least appear. She may not have had a primary role in an episode yet, but she's had a lot of spoken lies and appearances.
It's almost like AJ being there all the time is foreshadowing the upcoming ep. It could be reflected in the episode itself for all I know, where the rest of the Mane 6 worry because AJ has been there all the time and suddenly she is nowhere to be found. Up and vanished. |

I wouldn't be at all surprised (Okay I will still be surprised, probably blown away actually) if I'm right. The writers have done this in Season 1 with the Grand Galloping Gala arc. They foreshadowed it throughout Season 1, and when the finale was announced and the synopsis revealed, all the pieces fell into place.
Admittedly this upcoming Episode is the 14th, but that doesn't mean the build-up hasn't been there. It's actually even more clever, because we're just seeing Applejack more often, and it makes the viewers take her appearances for granted. So when she does disappear, and even her friends notice it, the impact on the viewers could be far greater than having a Season of nearly no AJ appearances and then an episode about AJ disappearing being aired. |
