In my headcanon, I think Blueblood is a jerk because he never had a true friend.

And personally- I go with Trixie. She's pushy, he's a pushover; Not to mention he seems to be something of a mama's boy, what with him wanting Rarity to pamper him and generally acting like a petulant boy. Also, I can see him respecting and admiring a pony with an ego big enough to create its own gravitational field. She'd get a devilishly handsome Prince who's also likely stinking rich, whom she can push around to her hearts content. For an added twist, let's imagine her being a pushy bottom and he a reluctant dom- I could see that too. |
