As far as I'm concerned AM rifles are sniper rifles but whatever
and liquid you're right I tagged it as an AS50 because of that hexagonal shape but the AS50 always has a cylindrical muzzle break |

Anti-Materiel rifles are not to be fired on people, only equipment. However, in a pinch equipment like uniforms, helmets, backpacks, and body armor are fair game.

Anti-material rifle =/= anti-tank rifle.
Anti material rifles are designed to destroy equipment like radars, light vehicles or grounded airplanes. Anti tank rifles are designed to destroy actual tanks but don't exist today because of the improved armour since WW2. |

How much you wanna bet a .50 caliber anti-materiel rifle wouldn't do shit against a modern MBT and it's materiel. It's french. Indicates ordnance/equipment, like ferotter said. semantics: all AM rifles are sniper rifles because you can snipe with them. Not all sniper rifles are AM rifles. Something in 7.62x51 (common sniping cartridge) would be quite ineffective as an AM round. |
