Isn't Apple Bloom a fair bit younger than him though? Twi was about four when his egg hatched; assuming she's about eighteen or nineteen now, that makes him about fourteen or fifteen. Apple Bloom herself is roughly six or seven years old at the most; there's a bit of a gap. |

If I remember right, Apple Bloom wasn't there to see AJ going too Manehattan, but neither were their parents, so my theory is that Apple Bloom was still a newborn and was inside the farm, and their parents were already dead. |
