anyone else not looking forward to his movie?
To me the worst parts o his video are the bits he does around the reveiw (ie. fighting woody woodpecker, killing evil game cartridges) And with his movie being around ET for the ataria (A game with little to no content) his reveiw will last about 5 minutes with hours of him stroking his ego. |

I never found him funny because his humour was always saying "This is ass" or "This is shit" Or "Fuck turd nuggets"
It got tedious to just hear him talk about faeces all the time, the problem is he has access to a lot of games that no one reviews and I find it interesting to see these old games and remind myself that the NES and SNES era weren't all megaman and mario there were bad games too that people forget due to rose tinted glasses. |

That's true, he builds on his humour and actually has a release schedule.
AVGN makes one video every 3 months or so, of 20 to 30 minutes. NC makes a video every week of about 10 to 20 minutes (With very little in the way of filler) |

@Roboshi: That is why I liked how Egoraptor did the review-esque for Castlevania 1/2, making great points, good and bad ones while still being funny and entertaining. I would love to see more stuff like that from old bad games. |

I liked his reviews on those old consoles (i.e. the virtual boy. Never thought it'd be that bad.). If it weren't for him I'd never track down an old multi mega I never had as a kid and play the games on that. Worth it. |

this shouldn't be funny but it is i don't understand
When Rolfe isn't playing a character and is just being himself he produces some pretty great material. The dude really knows his stuff (or he at least comes off like he does, I'm not much of a film buff to be honest so I can't say for sure when he's ever gotten any facts wrong! This guy clearly has passion for film though and I really like that). Oddly enough, I DO find the Nerd amusing (just the older videos though before he burned out). Maybe it's my incredibly juvenile sense of humor, but the stupid swearing schtick doesn't bug me. It isn't a riot or anything, but I've seen worse. Still, I much more appreciate his non-nerd reviews and Monster Madness videos. But seriously, AVGN's lousy schtick >>>> Nostalgia Critic's screeching and even more pathetic swearing. I do not understand how one can tolerate all of that idiotic, hyperactivity that this Walker bozo does. |
