Mine dislike is based on the assumption that it probably sounds nothing like spike and spouts baby gibberish, and on the fact it has soulless eyes and a weird mouth-hole that reminds me of that cabbage patch doll that ate the little girls hair back in the day. |

I agree with Draconequus on this one. That's actually closer to a G4 design than any of the other plushes or newborns and in profile, it probably looks spot on.
If you had to be a really nerdy fanbrony about it though, you'd point out that his in-show newborn form looks different to that display art. In other words, they got it wrong for a different reason. |

@ Anonymus: We've seen Spike also when he came out of his egg and diapering him was not the first thing they did with him. Gashunk probably say this because there are people who want to diaper everything they see including themself and already post some offensive pictures here.
