As goofy as it could be at times g1 was pretty dark. Of course by today's standards almost all the kids shows of the 80s were dark. |

I knew it could be dark - I've been fond of G1 for a while. I just didn't realize that the Twinkle Eye Ponies came about as result of being ENSLAVED AND BLINDED. Dear god. I've come across tons of stories of the horrors of G1, but damn, this one was new and dark as fuck. |
