I preferred Pratchett's take on it. The Grim Reaper had to take Father Christmas' job for one holiday, and didn't give a ruddy crap about folklore and tradition. He found her, took her to a nearby home and left her in the care of the people there. That's right, *Death himself* got pissed at the Downer Ending--- and FIXED it. Crowning moment of awesome for the character. |
