Three years ago, the Solar Empire's invasion of Ponyville was stopped by the 34 Super Pony teams in the Legend War, at the cost of their power.
Three years later, a group of young ponies in search of excitement and adventure oppose the Solar Empire, taking the name of "pirates." Captain Pip, the team leader, and last of the Red Pony Crew who were the greatest threat to the Solar Empire's expansion. Applebloom Gibken, a master swordspony and apple bucker, a Solar Empire defector. Scootaloo Millfy, a former thief with an eye for treasure and glory. Spike Dogoier, an amnesiac dragon scientist who designs and maintains the team's equipment. Sweetie Belle de Famille, the princess of the destroyed planet Famille. Snips Ikari, a Super Pony fancolt who uses his knowledge of the previous teams to help find the Greater Powers. Opposing them are the Holy Solar Empire and their renewed invasion of Ponyville. The leader of the new invasion is Princess Luna Gill, an ambitious mare who simply wishes to be seen as great by her sister, the empress. Her retainer, Applezorg, a cyborg who was formerly Applebloom's sister and mentor, Applejack Bamick. The general of the Solar Empire and the Strongest Pony in Space, Big Macintosh, who keeps the princess in check and act as the voice of reason amongst the invasion fleet. The mad scientist, Twilight, who engineers monsters known as Action Commanders to assist in the invasion's groundwork. Diamond Tiara ta Jolokia, a traitor to the Red Pony Crew who seeks out the Greater Powers for herself, assisted by her faithful familiar Silver Spoon. And finally, the Empress Herself, Celestia Gill, who takes over the invasion after Luna's hubris gets her killed. |

Curiously, I'be been thinking about uploading a picture about what pony could fit each character in a crossover.
