She's no longer a shy, timid pony whose friends can help her gain confidence. It's not just "That Fluttershy is such a scaredy-pony". She becomes one of a statistically significant percentage (enough to create an entire industry, R&D included) of Equestrians who suffer from permanent neurochemical issues that can only be managed by medication. She'll never get better. She can't be helped, except by drugging her. Teasing and impatience isn't friends butting heads over their difference, it's blaming her for her disability. It really changes the tone of things. Just my nickel after the fact. |
